Humon is building the Hex – a wearable sensor that measures oxygen levels in muscles to provide real-time training feedback to athletes. This information is also processed over time to adjust and prescribe the athlete’s training regimen for optimal performance.

The engineering group is looking for someone passionate about data to join their growing team. As a data analyst at Humon, you will be responsible for designing experiments and collecting data on athletes in controlled environments. You will identify and interpret trends in complex data sets and create visualizations to convey important findings. You will work alongside other engineers to develop techniques to extract key features from data sets to gather insightful information for athletes.

Qualifications
– Programming experience in Python or R
– Comfortable conducting and designing research experiments
– Good understanding of statistics
– Creative problem solver
– Enjoys the startup environment
– Experience in exercise physiology is a plus

Candidate must motivated and independent in seeking out challenges, with start-up mentality, willing to hustle to get the job done, not afraid to step outside your comfort zone.
